Role Summary/Purpose:

This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to demonstrate initiative, functional and technical expertise in a high profile role within the product professional services organization. The Technical Consultant works with our customers and internal stakeholders to upgrade database from their legacy version to latest Epicor ERP version. A person suitable for position should have wide expertise on data standards and be capable of quick and correct problems diagnosis and of applying appropriate solutions. As part of these responsibilities, all work activities will be tracked in a time reporting system, and monitored for optimum utilization and customer satisfaction.

Essential Role and Responsibilities:

The data conversion work is handled remotely over the internet, along with conference calls, and e-mail correspondence. Must have strong self-motivating skills, need the ability to self-manage a variety of tasks, and work independently on multiple projects. An understanding of Manufacturing or Wholesale Distribution business and their processes as well as accounting concepts is very helpful, as the data is business oriented in nature. Along with working with the customer, you will interact routinely with Implementation, Development, and Management teams. We seek an individual who is actively looking to improve their surroundings and to participate in ongoing process improvement activities to enhance current tools and work flows.

ü Manage database upgrades running in cloud executed through tools. Setup DB upgrades and assist stakeholders both internal and external with timely and accurate progress updates. Troubleshoot and fix data issues and be able to escalate tool related issues to concerned teams. People person who enjoys solving problems quickly.

ü This person has to be a self-starter and able to work independently. Fluent in English language, with the ability to document tasks performed in a clear defined manner.

ü Dependable and punctual with ability to follow issue at hand and perform duties according. This is not just a position for someone looking for documented steps of 1, 2, 3 etc. Individual will need to be able to think a problem through and do some troubleshooting if required.

ü Solving data problems

ü Inspecting data through the application

ü Cooperating with stakeholders (PMs/Customers), source system experts and other teams

ü Professional services and support in a production environment. Work as part of a global team in support of the business users for an in house proprietary application

ü Establish and maintain good working relationships with users, third parties and colleagues, communicating effectively through formalized reporting and ad hoc liaison

ü Flexibility to be crossed trained and support other applications as appropriate.

The ideal candidate has

ü BS or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, Accounting, Finance or Technical background

ü Should have 3 to 8 years of relevant experience

ü Advanced English, Strong written and communication skills

ü Experience with .Net technology stack

ü Experience with SQL Server programming and troubleshooting skills is mandatory

ü Knowledge of OpenEdge Progress skills is a big plus

ü Experience as Enterprise Application Support experience in modules such as Manufacturing, Distribution, Accounting or Finance is preferred

ü Should be willing to work in Night shifts

ü Should be flexible to work in shifts during Weekends on rotation basis
