Key Skills:
Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread, salad etc. following traditional and modern recipes.
Create new and exciting desserts, bakery items to renew hotels menus and engage the interest of customers.
Decorate pastries, cakes and desserts using different types of icings, toppings etc. and ensure the food presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
Ensure excellent quality throughout the bakery products, confectionery items & dessert offerings.
Should have knowledge of costing, budgeting, staff handling etc.
Train the Bakery staff to meet imposed standards,
Talk to suppliers and choose the ingredients needed for desserts and other baked goods.
Establish a budget for ingredient purchase.
Cleans the equipment and utensils and maintains the kitchen clean and in good order for proper functioning.

Roles & Responsibilities:
The Production Head will train and manage production personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities.
Ensures that the pricing policy and internal audit procedures are duly applied.
Should have good knowledge of all systems and standard operating procedures of bakery department.
Showing initiative, problem solving, staff training and team leading.
Willing to work under pressure.
Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food.
Select and develop recipes.
Standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality.
Establish presentation technique and quality standards.
Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance; and ensure proper safety and sanitation in the commissary.
Directly supervise production personnel with responsibility for hiring, discipline and performance reviews.
Salary: 35,000/- to 40,000/- pm.
